NEFDT Fire Services

NEFDT Fire Services is endorsed by the FDIA (Fire Detection Installers Association) & GED (Gas Extinguishing Division) and provides independent third-party inspections and certification in association with the FSIB (Fire Systems Inspection Bureau). We also design and verify designs of fire detection and gaseous fire protection systems regardless of who installs and maintains them.

Systems and products are inspected to SANS (South African National Standards) and in some special cases to NFPA (National Fire Prevention Association) standards to verify if they have been designed, installed and maintained accordingly.

We provide detailed reports with relevant recommendations following the inspections which assist Building Owners, Property Managers, Risk Managers, Safety Officers, Insurers, Installers, Contractors, Builders, Architects and Consulting Engineers to ensure that these systems are compliant with local or international standards - whichever is most applicable.
